For my opener, I thought I’d remind you all of a fun game that you may have played on long bus rides, at sleepovers, or anywhere else besides the classroom – Mad Libs. Mad Libs is a great way to get your students’ minds thinking about parts of speech in a fun, creative way. You can buy several different versions of the Mad Libs books full of different stories, have students create their own stories to pass around and share, or use the following websites:
